Cost of commissioned piece = (Price/sq in. or linear in.) + (design fee) + (shipping)

To give you an idea of the time required, it takes about 20 hours to paint one of my 7x10 plant life cycle paintings :)

Smaller pieces (any dimensions up to 100 sq in. - common sizes listed below)
$3.20/sq in.

Larger pieces (any dimensions greater than 100 sq in.)
$16/linear in. (linear in. = width + height)

Design Fee

No design fee if you provide a reference photo for me to paint from exactly or with minor changes.

$25 design fee if I am piecing together multiple photos or searching for my own reference photos.

Any reference photos you provide must either have a license that allows commercial use or you must have obtained written permission from the photographer for me to use it. Sites I often use are Wikimedia Commons (all images allow commercial use) and Flickr (select “commercial use” filter when searching).

If in STL, we can arrange for pick up/delivery. No shipping charge.
